None of the trustworthy scholars have stated that a woman has to wash her feminine pads which may have traces of menstrual blood, if she is going to throw them away and not use them again.

Menstruating women are not forbidden to enter Makkah or Madinah. There is nothing in the texts to suggest that they are not allowed to enter these cities.

1. The yellowish or brownish discharge that lasts for three or four days before the bleeding starts is not regarded as menses, and you should not stop praying or fasting at that time. 2. The black blood and the red blood that comes after it, and the yellowish discharge, are menses, until you see the white discharge or complete dryness. 3. If you see the white discharge or complete dryness, then any discharge after that, yellowish or brownish, is not regarded as menses.

The end of menses may be confirmed by dryness, according to most jurists, except for what was narrated from Imam Malik about the woman who usually sees the white discharge; in her case, the end of menses is not marked by dryness.

The postpartum woman should refrain from praying for 40 days unless her bleeding ends before, then she should do Ghusl and resume praying. If she sees any blood after 40 days, then most of the scholars say that she should not refrain from praying after forty days.
