Some scholar mentioned a number of reasons for doing Wudu after eating camel meat: • The camel has a devilish nature, so whoever eats its meat will develop some devilish energy as a result; so it is prescribed to do Wudu so as to take away that energy. • Camel meat has a strong impact on the nerves and provokes them. Hence modern medicine tells the hot-tempered individual not to eat a great deal of camel meat. Doing Wudu soothes and calms the nerves.

There is no difference of opinion among the scholars that laughing outside of prayer does not break Wudu. The scholars also agreed that laughing when praying invalidates the prayer but does not invalidate Wudu.

If these discharges come as the result of intimacy, then they are pure, because they are not the waste products of eating and drinking, thus they are not urine. Based on this, she does not have to wash her underwear or change them if these discharges get on them.

Wudu is not invalidated by cleaning a child’s urine or washing his diaper, because touching impurity does not invalidate Wudu, but it is essential to wash off the impurity if one wants to pray.

Changing clothes does not break one’s wudu if the person is in a state of purity and does not do any of the things that break wudu. Men and women are the same in this regard.

• If you are certain that the discharge came out while you were praying, or before you prayed [and after you did Wudu], then your prayer is invalid, and you have to clean yourself, purify your clothing and body of whatever got onto them, and do Wudu again and repeat the prayer. • If you are not sure whether the discharge came out while you were praying, or before or after that, then you do not have to repeat anything, because the basic principle is that you started praying in a state of purity, and the prayer cannot be deemed invalid on the basis of mere uncertainty.

The spotting that comes at times other than the regular monthly period does not prevent one from praying and fasting.

The most correct view is that blood that comes out from anywhere other than the front and back passage does not break the Wudu. If the blood or pus that gets on your garment is a small amount, there is nothing wrong with praying in that garment.
