The Farewell Tawaf is obligatory for the people of Jeddah. If you have performed Hajj, it is essential to complete the Farewell Tawaf before leaving Makkah. Prophet Muhammad said: “No one should leave until the last thing he has done is to circumambulate the House.”

Common mistakes by people when stoning the Jamarat: 1. Believing that collecting pebbles from other than Muzdalifah renders stoning invalid. 2. Washing the pebbles before using them, either for fear that someone may have urinated on them, or because believing that it is better to clean them. 3. Some people believe that they are actually stoning the devil himself. 4. Not making sure that the pebbles land in the pit around the Jamarat. 5. Believing that the pebbles must hit the pillar in the pit. 6. Some people delegate someone to stone on their behalf though they are able to do it.

A woman who wants to do Hajj or `Umrah should enter Ihram from the Miqat even if she is menstruating, and she should form the intention of entering Ihram. It is not essential to be free of menses in order to enter Ihram and do Sa`i, but the menstruating woman is not allowed to do Tawaf around the House until she is pure.

It is forbidden to have tattoos on the body. But having a tattoo does not prevent a person from performing Hajj.
