If you want to do Hajj or ‘umrah and you pass by the miqat without intending to enter ihram from there, you have to go back to the miqat and enter ihram from that point.

There is nothing wrong with wearing a sling to carry a baby whilst in ihram, because that is not the kind of clothing which is described in the texts as being forbidden when in ihram, nor is it like such clothing.

It is not permissible for a man who is in ihram to wear socks, but it is permissible for a woman to do that. If a man in ihram needs to wear socks, it is permissible for him to wear them but he has to offer the fidyah.
