It is not forbidden for a woman during the `Iddah of a revocable divorce to wear adornment, perfume, jewellery and other things that are forbidden to the woman who is observing `Iddah after the death of her husband. Rather, what is forbidden to her is going out of her husband’s house. Going out with men and speaking to them is forbidden in all cases.

If the wife is divorced before her husband had intercourse with her, she does not have to observe any ‘Iddah at all. If the husband had intercourse with her, she has to observe ‘Iddah in different forms.

Plural marriage is permissible in Islam, so a man may marry one, two, three or four wives, but it is not permissible for him to marry more than four. Conditions of plural marriage are: 1- justice and fairness, and 2- being able to afford spending on plural wives.

Types of woman not to marry in Islam: • A woman who is in `Iddah. • A woman who has committed fornication or adultery until she repents and completes her `Iddah. • A woman whom you have divorced three times until she has been married to another man in a valid marriage. • A woman who is in Ihram. • Two sisters at the same time. • A woman and her maternal or paternal aunt at the same time. • More than four women at one time.
