Many hadiths have been narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which explain the virtues of Jumu`ah prayer. Please see below.

Doing Ghusl on Fridays is Sunnah but not obligatory according to the majority of jurists. This Ghusl is prescribed for those who come to Jumu`ah prayers whether men or women.

If there is a mosque in which Jumu`ah prayers are held, then you must pray with them and it is not permissible for you to introduce another Jumu`ah prayer.

The jurists agreed on two of the conditions of the Friday khutbah: 1- It should be done after the beginning of the time for Friday prayer, 2- It should be done before the prayer and not after.
