It is permissible to eat the meat of wild donkeys and it is haram to eat the meat of domesticated donkeys.

Pork is haram in Islam and there is no mention in the Shar’i texts of a specific reason for the prohibition on pork, apart from verse No. 145 of Surat al-An’am.
