Using something which was bought with ribaa

Question: 1391

My parents bought me a car which they pay intest on the car till now. Is it permissable to continue using the car or not? because they pay the financing.

Answer

Praise be to Allah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah.

So long as the purchase with interest has been made and it is not possible to go back on that, you can use the car, but you must advise your parents and explain to them that ribaa is haraam, so that they will not do this again. And Allaah knows best.
