Feeling gas in one’s stomach
Question: 2174
Answer
Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family.
If a person has wudu and hears the sound of wind or gas inside his stomach, this does not break his wudu if he does not pass anything, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “If any one of you notices something in his stomach and is not sure whether anything came out of him, he should not leave the mosque unless he hears a sound or smells a smell.”
