It is permissible for a scholar who has insight to read the Torah, Gospel and Zabur in order to refute Jewish and Christian opponents of Islam. Ordinary Muslims have no right to do that; rather if they have anything of the Torah or Gospel or Zabur, they must bury it in a clean place or burn it so that no one will be misguided by it

Tawakkul in Islam means depending on Allah and believing that He is the One Who causes measures to be effective; His decree comes to pass; He has decreed all things, counted them out and ordained them. Part of putting one’s trust in Allah is taking appropriate measures and striving to do so.

• It is obligatory to believe in all the Books which Allah has revealed and in all the Prophets and Messengers whom Allah has sent. • The Prophets and Messengers are many, of whom Allah has mentioned twenty five in the Quran, and we are obliged to believe in all of them. • There are four heavenly books which Allah sent down. They are the Tawrat (Torah), Injil (Gospel), Zabur (Psalms) and the Quran.

Referring to the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday as proof that it is permissible to celebrate Christmas is a notion that is based on false premises, because celebrating the Prophet’s birthday is not permissible, as it is an innovation that has been introduced into the religion, and whatever is compared to an innovation (for the purpose of justifying it) is also an innovation.

Ahl Al-Bayt are the members of the household of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Allah has bestowed upon the Ahl Al-Bayt of the Prophet numerous virtues. There is no intercession specifically for the family of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

1- Islam is the religion of all the Prophets. It appeared at the beginning of Prophethood, from the time of our father Adam, and all the messages called to Islam (submission to Allah) in terms of belief and basic rulings. 2- The believers who followed the earlier prophets were all Muslims in a general sense, and they will enter Paradise by virtue of their Islam.

It is permissible for a Muslim to enter into a business partnership or work with a disbeliever or an evildoer. The Messenger of Allah gave Khaybar to the Jews to work the land and cultivate it, in return for which they would have half of its yield.

No one knows the absolute unseen except Allah. A person may learn of that which is relatively unseen either through revelation, or through life experience, or through empirical science, or other means.
