The hymen may be broken without any immoral action taking place

I am a 17 year old girl, and I have a question: I remember that when I was ten years old, before I reached puberty, there was a little bit of bleeding, but I did not know what that meant. I thought that it was menstrual blood, but now I think that the cause was a rupture of the hymen because the water that I was using to clean myself after using the toilet came out very strongly. .. Perhaps that was the reason. I want to know the explanation of that, because praise be to Allaah I am chaste and I pray regularly, and I am not saying that to conceal something that I did wrong.

Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family.

The hymen may be broken for various reasons, such as jumping, insertion of fingers, heavy periods, and other reasons that the fuqaha’ have mentioned.

A strong jet of water could also break the hymen.

Whatever the case, so long as you are chaste, you should not worry about that, and you do not have to tell the husband about it.
