He hastened and did the farewell tawaaf then he was forced to go back to Mina and stay there overnight

Question: 106612

If someone stoned the jamaraat on the second of the days of al-Tashreeq then left Mina straight away and did the farewell tawaaf, then he went back to Mina with the intention of departing, but found that some of his companions had got lost, so he stayed overnight in Mina on the night before the third of the days of al-Tashreeq, and during the third day he departed and did the farewell tawaaf a second time, but he did not stone the Jamaraat on that day, what does he have to do?.

Answer

Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family.

So long as he went back there after departing from Mina on the 12th, before sunset with the intention of departing, but he was forced to stay overnight because his companions got lost, then he does not have to do anything.

And Allah is the source of strength; may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and Companions. End quote.
