He delayed saa’i until after the days of al-tashreeq

Question: 106592

What is the ruling on one who did tawaaf al-ifaadah but he did not do saa’i until the sun set after the last of the days of al-tashreeq? What is the ruling on saa’i if he did saa’i after sunset on that day or after the days of al-tashreeq?.

Answer

Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family.

Your saa’i at the end of the days of al-tashreeq or after the days of al-tashreeq is valid, and there is no sin on you for delaying it, because its validity is not conditional upon it being immediately after tawaaf, although it is better if it is done immediately after tawaaf, following the example of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

And Allaah is the Source of strength. May Allaah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions. End quote.
