Is `umrah on the day of the standing in `Arafah makruh?
Summary of answer
There is nothing wrong with doing ‘Umrah on the Day of ‘Arafah or the Day of ‘Eid because ‘Umrah can be done at all times.
Praise be to Allah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah.
“If a person is not doing Hajj and he does `umrah on the day of `Arafah or the day of `Eid , there is nothing wrong with this, because doing `umrah is permissible at all times and there is not a specific time for it, as there is in the case of Hajj. So whenever a person does it, it is a valid `umrah and we ask Allah to accept it from us and from him.”
