Rules of Inheritance in Islam
Here are some rules of inheritance in Islam: 1. Knowledge of the Islamic law of inheritance is one of the most important branches of Islamic knowledge. 2. The essential components of inheritance are: 1- the heir, 2- the testator (i.e., deceased), 3- what is to be inherited (i.e., the estate). 3. The causes of entitlement to inheritance are three: 1- Nikah 2- Wala’; 3- Nasab. 4. The impediments to inheritance are three: 1- enslavement; 2- murder; 3- difference of religion. 5. Inheritance is of two types: Fard (pl.
