Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the killing of women. The report about the killing of `Asma bint Marwan upon an order from Prophet Muhammad (peace and blesisngs be upon him) is a fabricated report.

The one who says that the age of Islam started with the Hijrah is referring to the calendar and the people agreed upon creating a system so that people could know the dates of events and define the times of contracts, the dates of visits by delegations, and the like. As for the beginning of Islam itself and people's awareness of it, we do not need to point out that this took place before that time.

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ‘Umrah four times, all of them in Dhu’l-Qi’dah apart from the ‘Umrah which he performed with his Hajj.
